Here are examples of courage, many cultures use alcohol as a social norm. They believe alcohol enhances their experience, such as, people drink to build confidence, therefore helps them relax. The main purpose is to have fun at social events. Peer pressure is another notable reason, the feeling of being rejected from a group of associates due to not consuming alcohol.

Why is courage essential?

 

Alcohol is a drug, more interestingly a depressant. It slows down vital functions, as a result creating slow reactions. 3 million deaths are associated with alcohol worldwide, in the event tearing families apart. We need courage to say no to whoever is pressuring you to drink alcohol. Believe in yourself, learn to have confidence to enjoy moments without any type of drug.
